Broderick Freeman
20 June 2008
The event is featuring writers like Ian Rankin, Rosamunde Pilcher and James Kelman. There will be workshops on creative writing, getting work revealed and writing for television. The holiday will be concluded by an event dedicated to comics, that may inspect their past, present and future. 'Love reading ' This is the 2nd time the holiday has been held in Dundee. Director Anna Day recounted : "There are not that several literary events in Dundee so we just failed to know if folk were going to have any interest and they totally were. "People have this view of Dundee that we do not enjoy culture in perhaps the same way as Edinburgh, but it is not true - Dundonians love reading. "We've got the highest level of journal purchasing in Scotland, so folks do love books and I believe it is shown as it's a very well supported event.". |
